What makes an excellent competitive company
An excellent competition in today's global business world is becoming more intense and ambitious. A successful company should know how to create, sustain, maintain and pursue the correct competitive strategy so that they can detect the strengths from other competitors and sustain the competitive advantage in their company. Pfeffer & Sutton (2000) argue that "competitive advantage goes not to those firms who have the best knowledge, but to those who use knowledge best". It is an advantage to let business survive against its competition.
The company needs to be persistent and strive to create something different for themselves from the other competitors in order to leap forward. And at the same time satisfy consumer's needs and better relationship so that to attract more loyalty customers. According to Kaplan & Norton (2001), they said that "Human are competitive beasts". All companies must flexible respond to market changes, always benchmark to achieve best practice.
